Mixed Martial Arts is a brilliant way to hone your skills and meet new people.
We specialise in MMA, kickboxing, street self defence with additional grappling and boxing classes.
We are a friendly and sociable club always who are willing to take on people of any skill level, from beginner to advanced.
Please don’t feel intimidated if this is your first time, our lovely committee are always on hand to help out!

Evolution Martial Arts and Fitness Academy is a community with a passion for sport, fitness, self-defence and fun!
We are accessible to all skill levels, from total beginners to advanced – we have a wide range of people from all backgrounds and levels of experiences.
We teach a variety of disciplines –
Striking with Kickboxing, Takedowns with Grappling & Mixed Martial Arts to blend the disciplines.
We run women’s only kickboxing and fitness sessions to help empower women with techniques that will help achieve their goals.
With 6 available training sessions per week, you can get involved in 1 or 2, or even all 6!
A Bit About Us
We are a welcoming club, so please don’t feel intimidated and come and give our amazing sport a try.
We have regular socials and plenty of opportunities to meet and get to know the people in the club.

What Martial Arts do you teach?
–Kickboxing–
Kickboxing is a striking martial art using fists, elbows, knees and shins, and is widely considered the best overall body workout. Our sessions are accessible to everyone whether you are a total beginner or an advanced, so don’t hesitate to come, give them a try and let off some steam.
–Grappling–
MMA grappling martial art, focused on leverage and technique, allowing smaller practitioners to overcome bigger and stronger opponents. A wide variety of grappling techniques are taught, such as joint locks and choke holds.
–Self-defence–
We have Street Self-Defence classes using the techniques of Evolution methodology for the real world. This is suitable for anyone who is interested in learning about self-defence, or looking to learn serious self protection.
–MMA–
We put it all together in our weekly sessions where we learn important takedowns, submissions, pins and striking techniques MMA use. Our sessions feature some killer techniques to really flesh out your skillset.
–Boxing–
Our striking arts boxing classes can deliver a real knockout to your muscles and cardio system – with moves that will boost your boxing skills and stamina. This will stimulate the mind and develop inner strength which is great way of getting rid of stress. Sessions typically involve hitting focus pads but NO class involves hitting an opponent

WEDNESDAY: 5.45pm – 6.30pm Kids MMA class
